Privacy Policy

How Crittorz Ltd collects, uses and protects your personal information.

Last updated 28 August 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, who we share it with and the choices available to you.

01

Who We Are

Crittorz Ltd ("Crittorz", "we", "us", "our") is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16588234.

We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. If you have any questions, you can contact us at:

02

What Personal Data We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact and booking details: name, address, phone number, email address, and property details, when you request a quote or book a service.
  • Communications: records of calls (calls may be recorded for training, quality, and dispute-resolution purposes), emails, WhatsApp messages, and website contact form submissions.
  • Payment information: card payments made through our invoice link or app are processed by our third-party payment provider — we do not directly store your full card details.
  • Property and treatment information: details of the pest issue, treatment history, and any access notes needed to carry out the service.
  • Health-related information, where relevant: for example, details about pets, allergies, or vulnerable occupants at a property, where you choose to share this so we can carry out a treatment safely. This is treated as special category data under UK GDPR — see clause 4 below.
  • Website usage data: standard analytics data (pages visited, general location, device type) collected via cookies and similar technologies.
  • Marketing contact details: if you're a business contact (for example, a restaurant, letting agent, school, or care home) who receives marketing communications from us, we hold your name, business email, and organisation details for this purpose.
03

Special Category Data (Health-Related Information)

Where you tell us about pets, allergies, or vulnerable occupants so that we can carry out a treatment safely, this counts as special category data under Article 9 of UK GDPR. We only collect this where you choose to share it, we only use it for the specific purpose of planning a safe treatment, and we ask for your explicit consent to hold it at the time of booking.

05

Who We Share Your Data With

  • Technicians carrying out your service — including subcontracted technicians — receive the booking and property details necessary to attend and complete the job.
  • Our third-party payment provider processes card payments made through our invoice link or app.
  • IT, software, and communications providers (for example, our website hosting, email, and WhatsApp Business Platform providers) process data on our behalf as necessary to run our business.
  • Google (Analytics and Ads) processes website usage data as described in our cookies section below.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

06

International Data Transfers

Some of the providers we use (for example, Google and Meta/WhatsApp) may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision covering the relevant country, as required under UK GDPR.

07

How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep booking and financial records for as long as required by UK tax and accounting law (currently six years). Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them, or until they become out of date. Call recordings are kept for a limited period for training and dispute-resolution purposes before being deleted.

08

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Ask us to delete your data, where applicable
  • Restrict or object to how we process your data
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent (this won't affect processing already carried out)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in clause 1.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data.

09

Marketing Communications

If you receive marketing emails from us as a business contact, every email includes a clear way to unsubscribe. We aim to keep our marketing lists accurate and compliant with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) as well as UK GDPR.

10

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to help it function and to understand how visitors use the site, including analytics tools such as Google Analytics. [Insert details of your specific cookie categories and a link to your cookie consent tool/banner once configured.]

11
